The Story of the
ESTES PARK PIE COMPANY
Nestled high in the northeastern slopes of the Colorado Rockies lies the scenic community of ESTES PARK. Besides being the eastern gateway to the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, and the site of the historic STANLEY HOTEL (which was the inspiration for Stephen King's THE SHINING), it is also the home of the ESTES PARK PIE COMPANY. It just made good sense to establish our business here in this beautiful valley located below Longs Peak and surrounded by the Roosevelt National Forest.
Our ideas and concepts for the menu came from old family recipes that originated in the upper Midwest region of Indiana and Wisconsin. These old family recipes were merged with my family's southern California recipes of eight generations to create our own pies with their current taste and look.
We use only fresh apples and all natural ingredients in our pies. This gives them the best taste and the same consistency of those familiar pies that your Grandmother may have made for you in days gone by.
ESTES PARK PIE COMPANY is a family owned and operated business. We would like to extend an invitation to everyone to please stop by and let our family provide you with a great culinary experience ~ the great smell and fine taste of an American tradition. Most of our pies are baked fresh daily, so there is never a shortage of the pleasant sweet aroma wafting out of our bakery and always a welcome smile!
